I have an assignment do that states;

Select a delinquency prevention measure from each of the three levels of prevention:
Primary, secondary, and tertiary. Prevention measures may be corrective, punitive, or mechanical.

Describe each prevention measure, including an explanation of why it is classified as primary, secondary, or tertiary. Your response should be 200-300 words in length.

I am stuck on the part that said prevention “measure,” in your opinion do feel they are asking for types of programs that aid in prevention?

This is one of those times where your mind goes blank. If I can just figure out what this part is asking for I will be just fine.

but heres a suggestion, if you know anyone in your class maybe you should e-mail them or call them?
at my school we have techerweb so if your stuck you just e-mail your teacher. check your school website for that. 🙂

Examples might be:
Primary corrective: teach moms in hospitals how to be better moms to newborns
Primary punitive: take away kids at birth from drug abusing pregnant women
Primary mechanical: give brochures on delinquency prevention to all new moms
