Help with helping someone overcome WEED!?

Question by Lupi Emperor Of Bipolairty: Help with helping someone overcome WEED!?
He is not really my friend. We kind of talk but he is in the student council with me. He is extremely intelligent but think she is under control of his addiction(or to him lack of addiction). He misses school when he is under the influence and it affects his grades. How do I help someone who isn’t willing to realize they are not under control anymore. I dont want him to think to much of it though, I only care because he is a class mate who is seen as a role model, and shouldn’t. I want to help him so that other people don’t do the same. He also gets angry when you mention the habit is bad, he defends people’s right to get high wiht his life.
I have problems like everyone else but I dont resolve to drugs or alcohol to solve them. In this is not a “project”. Why is it so hard for people to believe there are others who actually care for others. I care for him as an individual and for our community as a whole

Sounds like you are just jealous that he is so cool, and you are not. If someone wants help, they’ll tell you.

Based on everything you’ve said, I’d say that you shouldn’t waste your time on him… you can’t help someone who doesn’t want to be helped… no matter how hard you try.
